We are now looking for a first-year Apprentice Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our committed team and help drive the continued success of our company.

Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in cabinet making and joinery. You will work alongside our skilled craftsmen, learning the trade and developing your skills in a hands-on, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the production of custom cabinets, joinery projects, furniture, and kitchens.
Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized workshop.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

Eligibility to undertake the Solas Wood Manufacturing and Finishing Apprenticeship Programme.
Experience in woodworking is beneficial but not necessary, as training will be provided.
Ability to work as part of a small team, listen to, and follow instructions.
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for woodworking.
Punctuality and strong organizational skills.
Flexibility and willingness to learn.
